Friendly staff, elevator, closed to 24 hrs market and other shops, spacious kitchen with basic amenities

The location is superb , near shops and restaurants, plus you can easily walk to the city center.

We stayed in different rooms due to lack of space during our dates. First was a twin room with private bath. It was on the street side, and my friend couldn't sleep due to street/party noise. This was the summer and daylight all the time. I never have a problem sleeping (mask, ear plugs) so didn't bother me a bit. Room was clean, beds comfy, was able to keep our luggage in their store room until room was available, staff were friendly and polite. Did not eat the breakfast there, as there is a great coffee house with bagels around the corner! (Wake & Bake) Hotels are very expensive in Reykavik, and this small guesthouse is a good place to stay.
