The building is amazing, with its exposed beams and carefully selected antique furniture and well-selected pictures that are perfect in this historical space. It is a stunning well cared for apartment! The location just across the street from Piazza Maggiore is perfect. Everything is close by: the Modernissimo movie theater, many restaurants and wine bars, even an excellent grocery store, and the Bologna landmarks and shopping. The beds were comfortable, and the shower was excellent. The large courtyard was very nice, and would be very handy in a less hot time of year. Good wifi. We would stay here again on future visits to Bologna. Recommended!

We loved everything about Fossalta Home. Its location is perfect. The kitchen was small but fine for our purposes (my 16 year son and me). The bedrooms were very comfortable, and the entire apartment was well appointed (great antiques!). We liked the funky layout. Having a washing machine was a plus. Best for a couple or a couple with one other person.

The location was good. We had written the host in advance to ask if we could drop off our carry-on bags before check-in so we didn't have to take them around the city. I can't recall that we ever heard back. But we arrived at the property while the cleaning staff was there; the employee made a call and got the landlord's permission for us to leave our bags. The keyless check-in worked great when it was time to check in. We really enjoyed our time in Bologna! Also, it's a tiny little elevator! I'm grateful that it had one, and we only travel with carry-on bags, so it wasn't a problem. But if you need a suitcase, prepare to take a solo ride in the elevator or use the stairs.
