Lovely place right in the town, very close to the lake, but it feels peaceful, hidden away behind the shop.
Very clean, with friendly helpful staff. Plenty of space, good shower, useful little kitchen area.
It was nice to sit and watch the birds in the garden.
Stresa is beautiful too, with so much to do and great restaurants near to the Garden Lodge.

Very close to old town Stresa, everything at your doorstep. The hosts were very welcoming and gave us some great local tips. And Giorgio gave us a lift to the railway station on our departure. Nice people. Highly recommend this property.
Great location in the centre of stresa and surprisingly quiet. The room and facilties were fantastic, exactly like the photos and description. The hosts went above and beyond, even giving us a lift to the next town. We couldn't recommend a better place to stay for this budget.
