We had a luxurious lake-front suite with a huge patio with a hammock, loungers and table. A comfortable living room, a kitchenette and two closets. They left us some bottled water which they replaced. Loved having the refrigerator. We knew what to expect given the reviews, detailed pictures etc. Yet it's another thing to walk in and take it in (a great thing). The European Breakfast for 5 francs is a real deal. Plenty to eat and great espressos. Right on the edge of old town. The staff, as all the other reviews have said, were wonderful.

We liked everything. It’s a lovely hotel with excellent staff and great breakfast.
The location was perfect, the staff friendly and helpful, the room was just right for my needs, and had a lovely terrace looking out over the lake. I’ll be back
The room is really great and the view also. I think some things need fixing (like the toilet seat which was falling apart) and it would be great if there were some plates/glasses in the kitchen. However, we stayed off-season (normally they are closed through winter) so I expect that during the high-season rooms should be better equipped.
