The location is perfect and even on a hot day the apartment was cool. The beds were comfortable and kitchen was well equipped.

Guizzo apartment is just amazing! Located in the historical center, with lot’s of space, beautiful interior and picturesque view to the canal. Very spacious apartment with a large kitchen, bathroom and a lift in a nice neighbourhood. Host was very accommodating with us storing our luggage early before booking in.

There is a lot to like about this apartment. The owner is just delightful. Full of interesting information about the history of Venice. Helped with the luggage. A great communicator. Excellent English. The apartment is more spacious and light than the photos indicate. The kitchen is delightful. Large with great windows which open out to the roofs of Venice and of course the canal. You feel right at home sitting at the kitchen table. Location is great. Just far enough away from being hectic but close enough to feel part of the action. There are many bars and restaurants nearby, filled with locals and tourists. Facilities all work perfectly well. Use S. Marcoula Vaporetto station if you want to go up and down the grand canal easily. It is under 10 mins walk. Good bed in main bedroom (can comment on the kids beds). We are actually returning to the apartment in 2 weeks for a second stay.
