Very clean and keep after staff do great job taking care of the place. 2 min walk to train and bus station and is connected directly to diner with great food.

Location is great if you are arriving by train, just a few minute walk to hostel. It was one of the cleanest hostess I have ever been in. There is great place to eat next door. Woman who worked there very friendly and helpful.

Cleanest hostel I've yet to experience....ever. The manager and the entire staff are friendly amongst one another as-well-as guests. Everything is cleaned daily, almost continuously in an environment that is quiet and professional. There is a good sized kitchen and seating area, and the shared room (dormitory), was quiet with 3/8 beds in use each night. The room is very clean, with AC, lockers and natural light. Slippers are worn within the hostel which keeps the floors spotless. In terms of location, the bus station is a few seconds walk and the train station, 1 minute. The hostel/hotel is attached to an eatery which is very popular and likewise clean. Upon my departure the manager gifted me a large bar of good quality chocolate which I remembered half way into my train journey, devouring it with great pleasure :) Absolutely excellent and no qualms whatsoever.

Excellent hostel also with private rooms. Really clean, big spacious rooms. Hot shower and good WiFi. Very quiet in the rooms. You take your shoes off at reception and they provide slippers. This is a good idea, as the place is kept immaculately clean. Location is immediately next door to the train station, so very convenient, although not the most stylish part of town. For a great meal - find one of the two "Shashlyk" restaurants. There is a supermarket and money exchange withing walking. A Yandex taxi costs about $US1.50 to downtown, where you can see the Ural River. They even provided me a SIM card on arrival and a chocolate on departure!! :)
