This is such an incredibly well run place. The staff are friendly, helpful, energic and speak English. My room was spotlessly clean. I really like it when I find these basic, no frills rooms where I don't have to pay for things I don't need, like Tv etc. The room and the bathroom were quite spacious, and the shower was hot. The WiFi was excellent. There is a nice bar and restaurant downstairs, also tables where you can plug in and get things done. The location is superb, right in the old town and just across the street from the river. (The location on maps.me was a bit wrong, so the river front location came as a bonus to me)
The rooms was as expected. The location is really good. If I would have booked a room with the window, the view might be stunning.

Rooms in the back are quiet with good wifi. Location is excellent with view of the river, very close to the Old French Bridge and the boats to Kep ($15 return) or the sunset cruise ($5 including a free beer). Also close to many many excellent restaurants, including Vanna's, Twenty Three Bistro, & Kampot Seafood & Pepper (where you can also take a Cambodian cooking class). Also, just in front of Vanna's (on the same road as Good Morning Kampot) a baker has a stall in the morning selling excellent breads & pastries.
great place to hang out in the bar area at the front of the hotel, sitting in the sun with a cheap beer and watching the world go by!
