Canova hostel was very nice. The staff were friendly, and it's in a good location. I stayed in one of the private rooms, and it was a very nice room. The bed was comfortable and it was clean.

Really friendly staff. Don Luis, Oscar and the girls ( whose names I could not remember ) where really friendly and helpful, I had faced some issues with my bank card and they immediately offer all the assistance to help me out. The ladies in the kitchen prepared me a delicious meal that really made my day. I highly recommend the place.

This Hostel was defiantly good value for money. It was only a few short blocks from the beach and within walking distance to the Malecon. For that budget traveler, its also right on major bus routs. You can go from the Airport to the Zona Romantica with bus routs passing right near the Hostel, which means landing and getting to the hostel is only going to cost you 10 pesos. I also really enjoyed the breakfast. It was an option of Chilaquiles or a plate of fruit with some instant coffee prepared by yourself al gusto. Oh and did I mention the streets nearby have a good selection of taco stands?
