Great soak in the pools in the evening and then in the morning before we left.
Great little Kiwiana motel with hot pools in peaceful and picturesque spot away from crowds/noise. Ideal for an over-nighter en-route south/north or a mini holiday. You can soak in a private deep hot pool and gaze at the stars, listen to the night noises of wildlife. Each unit has a kitchen so we always bring groceries to self-cater.
Modest but functional accommodation for a road trip through the area. The hot pools were a great bonus!
This motel is very charming and I quite enjoyed the thermal tubs after hiking Tongariro
Plenty of space and the kitchen facilities were useful for breakfast. We also had access to hot pools on the site and a clothesline. Near to the town with decent restaurants. We also based here due to catching the shuttle for the Tongariro Crossing.
