This was quite lovely. Tarquin is your host and she is a delight. After a big day out, this is the place to relax, with a glass of something, lounging in front of the big heater in the common room. Pool, darts if you choose. Bed is comfy and the shower is hot. Nice.
I really enjoyed my stay at this location...........within minutes Tarquin, Lincoln and Crystal (the management team) made me feel like family, They did a great job of tucking away my bike, showing me around the facility, spending time with me teaching me about kitchen use, open area use and enjoyable things to do around Gisborne.........we will remain lifelong friends after this visit.
Nobody was there so run of the place to ourselves. Lovely host, big and well stocked shared spaces.
The place is very clean and tidy. Location is not that far from the city centre.
I enjoyed our stay the night, hostess Tarquin was very warm and welcoming. even made us a cake for cuppa.
Ideal stay out in Muriwai or travelling through Gizzy.
Loved the games room and their garden seating area where you can see the beautiful stars glistening in the openness of the sky. Perfect for families friends passing through couple nights.
