It was not to far to walk to restaurants, Helena took our luggage before we were able to get in so we didn't have to lug it around for 6hrs in the rain.

The flat is spacious and clean. It has a very nice view and a little balcony where one can sit and relax. However, there is no way, how to adjust the temperature, it is not warm in the evenings and during the days without sun. In summer, it must be pretty hot on the other hand. Air-con advisable. The kitchen is equipped very basically - knives are totally blunt bordering dangerous, no dishwasher nor washing machine tablets, no tea cloth and some basic cooking stuff like oil, sugar, tea could be handy. Only one wine glass - strange. No shower gel in the bathroom. On the other hand, Mario is great, responds quickly and tries to solve all problems immediately.

Good location. Big apartment and had everything you could need.

Really nice modern, spacious apartment, close to restaurants and a large supermarket. OK sized balcony with nice views over Ponta Delgada. Also, Mario was extremely helpful with answering any queries we had.
