Elvas the Queen Residence, Элваш, Португалия

We had a perfect stay to prepare for the 114 Gravel race. The centralized location in Elvas is ideal to see the old town and everything is in walking distance. Rooms were big and clean. The addition of a shared kitchen makes it a complete flat. The host was super friendly. Make sure to visit their restaurant (Golden Hour), just around the corner, for delicious Portuguese dishes at really great prices.

Very neat space. It is what was one a massive apartment taking up an entire floor of a building, which has been renovated into space with a shared kitchen/laundry, dining and lounge areas, but with private bedrooms. Our room was beautifully renovated with an excellent bathroom. The furnishings are not high end, but are absolutely functional and the bed was comfortable. The washer and dryer were a real convenience and detergent was available so we did not have to go shopping for it. The unit was very clean, both in our room and if the shared areas. Communication with the host was great and we were able to self check in with door codes and a lock box. The unit is very well located in the heart of Elvas on a pedestrian only street. The host was able to direct us to free parking a short walk away.
