Loved the location of the Ambleside Fell Rooms - easy to walk into the town in a few mins, and to Lake Windermere in 10-15 mins. Overall the room was clean and well presented.

It was clean and in a very good position to get to eateries, shops and other areas. Also newly decorated. Service was good bringing our breakfast in a bag on time.

Room was super clean, well located and spacious. Better than expected.

A beautiful and charming hotel, within walking distance to many Ambleside attractions, restaurants and shops. Townhouse style building, with high ceilings and architectural details in our comfortable and clean room. We had booked three rooms for our group; each was on a different floor and each with a unique floor plan. All were lovely and spacious, equipped with ample amenities. Staff was pleasant; check-in time is fixed unless you want to pay an additional fee. We did not get the breakfast bags, but appreciated their availability. There is also a car park adjacent to the hotel. Great value for the size and comfort of our rooms, and we would have liked to stay longer!

Great location, around the corner from the bus stand so transportation was easy. The room was larger than I expected and the bed was extremely comfortable.
