Great location and clean rooms. Really friendly staff, felt welcomed at all times.

The staff at Astor really made the stay for me! Maria in particular was so sweet and welcoming, but everyone working made the hostel feel like home. The rooms were clean and not too hot in July/August. There were not as many showers as I would expect for the number of people, but I timed my showers and never had to wait.

perfect little hostel in the middle of the big city! super easy to get around to all the places. the space was very clean and the beds super comfortable, the luggage crates were nice to store everything. the staff were the absolute BEST! everyone there was super kind and funny and we all had a lovely time together! they made you feel like family which is why this is my favorite hostel! can’t recommend enough! they also have events each night that you can join and meet other travelers as well!

Loved the warm, fast welcome to get my keys and info about the place. Enjoyed the convos with the hostel mates there. Made new connections. Loved the simplicity of shower and bathroom usage. Loved the location as it’s close to a university nearby which made walking at night safe. There’s parks nearby to chill and walking to Big Ben and London eye were 25-35 min stroll, not bad. This was all my first time experiencing hostel and it was a great experience! The staff were welcoming and kind.

The social atmosphere, the cleanliness, beds were comfortable, quiet street, chill out areas, cheap breakfast. All of it was great, will definitely stay here again if I'm in London
