This is an absolute great location. You are about three blocks from the Notting Hill underground subway station. Definitely learn the tube system. It is easy and really makes everything around London very accessible and cheap. There’s also a lot to do around Kensington. The city is very walkable. You are about one hour walk from Buckingham Palace and a lot of the attractions in downtown London if you would prefer to walk.

Our family of five, with three adult children, loved our stay in the Notting Hill Luxury Duplex. The location is unbeatable, and the staff were extremely helpful, gracious, and knowledgeable. From the moment of booking through checkout, Mark was responsive and kind. Pat had stocked the kitchen with fresh fruit, bread, jam, and milk - everything we needed for breakfast after an early arrival. In the neighborhood, we explored Holland Park (Design museum is terrific), Portobello Road, Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park by bike, and the V&A. There’s tons to do very nearby and easy connections via the tube to anything else you’d need. It was the perfect home base. A quiet street with great pubs and parks all around.
