Loved the central location, friendly staff, ease of access, and coziness of the room. I was able to walk to the cathedral and market area with ease, and I spend a lovely day enjoying the city. Would love to come back and spend more time on the River Wear.

I was just there for the night. Friendly and welcoming staff. Nice room overlooking New Elvet. Windows you can open, comfortable bed, bath. Good location. I will be back.
The location of the hotel was perfect as our daughter was visiting uni in Durham, and the property manager (Jillian) was so very kind and helpful.
