The room was big, cozy and warm. The bedding was clean. The bathroom was huge and had a nice bath and shower. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We needed an iron and the staff gave us theirs and an ironing board. Much appreciated. They had a great band Friday evening, but it wasn't too loud or too late. Although it's located on a busy street, it was nice and quiet at night. We had a great time overall.
The staff were exceptional. The young girl whom
checked us in and the bartender whom was very polite and attentive at our meals was very welcoming. Food was great.
So Central in town. Loved the big room and bath. heaters worked well. Magic looking out at the snow on the second day.
Right in the centre of Chester-Le-Street so a perfect location. Also only a 15-20 minute walk to the Riverside cricket ground (the main reason for my visit to CLS). I managed to get checked in early (the lady who checked me in was very helpful - thank you). As a matter of fact, all the staff are very friendly. This was my sixth or seventh stay at the Lambton Arms. Will definitely stay here again in future. Great value for money.
Staff were friendly and welcoming. Room lovely and clean. Very comfortable and very quiet. Breakfast was good value for money and delicious.
