The host was extremely accommodating to our early flight. Though our room wasn't ready to allow for an early check-in, we were allowed to place our luggage in the room so we could start exploring the city; this was very helpful.
The flat is across the street from the grounds of HTB Church and St. Mellitus College, set within a large, tree-filled garden surrounded by historic buildings. Despite being in the heart of South Kensington, the area felt surprisingly peaceful.
The room itself was clean and the washing machine was an absolute lifesaver.
It's about a 5 minute walk from the flat to the Gloucester Road Metro Station. There's also a good mix of restaurants and pubs within a 5-10 minute walk of the flat.
