The Gyle was an absolute oasis and respite from the madness of Central London. Delightful and green and cool and calm. Dora, the manager, was exceptionally friendly and kind, helping us to access our room (a fabulous suite) early, making sure it was perfect for us, and arranging for us to have a very late check out (for a reasonable fee), and her colleague Mercy was also v nice.
Lovely boutique hotel. Wish we could have stayed longer. Lots of little extras. Beautiful large room and fantastic shower. A block away from St Pancreas/ Kings cross and underground.
The breakfast was delicious! Upscale continental breakfast I'd say. Really great pastries, cereals, toast, jams, etc. And the coffee machine offered coffee options like flat white, latte, etc. with to go cups available.
Quiet and clean. Great front desk staff. Prime location, closer to many of the attractions.
Breakfast was very good. Freshly baked pastries, yogurt and fruit, cheeses and meats, hard-boiled eggs, and great coffee.
