We liked the overall feel of the place. Clean, cosy and with a romantic-feel 4-post bed! Spacious room. It's a bit outside Stratford but not very far. There's a train station not far from the inn, so travelling via public transport won't be too difficult. Lovely pub too! Overall, we enjoyed our stay and plan to return the next time we visit Stratford or the surrounding areas. :)
the owner was so welcoming and friendly. The service was top notch and the breakfast was delicious. It's had a great atmosphere and they couldn't have been more accommodating. The manager even gave me the complete works of Shakespeare for me to pass on as I'm in the entertainment industry.
Warm welcome, lovely atmosphere, extremely helpful staff. Homely. Great location. Canal walk nearby, short walk to station but no noise from the trains. Bus service right outside but a beautiful and very quiet village.
the room was amazing and the owners couldn't do enough to make our mini honeymoon fantastic.
Quiet location 11 min from Stratford and other attractions, lovely, spacious rooms, good bed, historic building, friendly staff. Also, there used to be plenty of parking available.
