The hotel we booked for our five-day stay in London seemed a bit expensive for our trip budget, but we decided to go for it anyway. In retrospect, it was an excellent decision.
The hotel itself was stunning and beautiful, with a variety of facilities. Most importantly, everything was kept super clean at all times. The staff was incredibly nice and courteous. The check-in process was efficient, quick, and polite, with a welcoming reception that truly made a great first impression. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Our Eurostar was cancelled so we booked a night at 10pm. The room, the view and the food delivered to the room were exceptional.
Stayed here with my family (including kids ages 5 and 8). The hotel was amazing value for the price - new, clean and comfortable with a wonderful staff. The pool was a highlight for the kids - it's small but the kids loved the lighting. The size of the rooms was large by London standards and we did not fee cramped so that was great. We loved the neighborhood which had plenty of eateries nearby. While its not necessarily central, the tube is a 5 min walk away and it was easy to get anywhere in the city from there.
The art was so lovely (a little like modern art deco); breakfast was fantastic and felt fresh; the bathroom was spacious; our room (King) was large enough for us to stay 10 nights without feeling cramped and came with all the little things that make your stay pleasant (and those things were beautiful too) ; the lounge areas were comfortable and very aesthetically appealing (and the books and magazines were a perfect touch)
I did not try the hotel's breakfast. The location is extremely good and there are countless fantastic places for food and drink. The hotel was just very well-run, the room was very convenient and had a STUNNING view of the city. Hotel staff was uniformly very helpful and pleasant. I just loved it.
