I was feeling cranky from my travels, but when I realized there were Byredo "Bal d'Afrique" toiletries, I was amazed--few hotels have toiletries based on a major fragrance. And they did smell great! Other pluses were just the sheer size and elegance of the room and all its furnishings, and having a deep soaking tub separately from the walk in shower. I learned the next morning that it is about a 10 minute walk to a very fancy mall, with Louis Vuitton, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales, etc--big city shopping options! And yet it's also a 5 minute walk to the "Marta" public transport stop. When I was in a rush to my next flight, I couldn't take the time for a cab in rush hour, and got to the airport 25 minutes on the Marta.

The self parking in the garage was so easy. I love being able to park near the entrance door that takes you directly up to the lobby. Check-in was so easy. My room was superb. Comfy and clean. Love the view. I even enjoyed the bar and restaurant connected to the hotel. I didn't even have to leave the hotel. The location was perfect and close to everything.
