It is a good mid-tier hotel with very good food and a great location. The staff at the spa are polite and friendly, and the rest of the hotel staff are also courteous and hardworking. The room was okay — overall, a pleasant experience.
The air conditioning was working well, but it was old and not fully functional, as the direction of the airflow couldn’t be adjusted.
Smoking is technically not allowed in the restaurant or in the rooms, but almost everywhere else is allowed, essentially the whole hotel outside is one large smoking area, so everything smells like cigarettes.
This is especially an issue around the children's pool — they could consider banning smoking there, both for the sake of the kids and to provide at least one smoke-free area for non-smokers.
