The location is great, right on the beach boardwalk, but very quiet as it's a short walk away from the main street. The staff is very nice and helpful. They have a small bar which is very nice. The front door is on a side street and the beach boardwalk is 30 steps to the right. The hotel has an elevator, but we walked up and down as the walls are decorated with interesting posters which made the walk up/down interesting. We had a small balcony with a very nice view, the room is adequate and the bathroom is larger than some and more than adequate.
We rented bikes as the area has many easily rideable bike paths, however, if you're uneasy on a non-powered bike, an electric bike may be suitable as there are some areas where you would be in traffic. The best bakery that I've ever been to is Helle Bruno, located in the traffic circle on the Trouville side.
