The location is excellent: Just minutes away from both Lille Europe and Lille Flandres, and basically around the corner from Grande Place. Of course, this also means a bit of a noise level - but nothing that kept me awake at night.
It was also nice to have a small desk for a laptop, should you need to squeeze in an hour of work or so.
Finally, even though it was actually a bit of a nuisance: When the washing machine broke in the apartment, I really had the impression that the landlords tried their best to get that fixed. They even sent over a technician within just one day. So, even though he could not fix the washing machine immediately, definitely an A for effort!
