Our rooms were perfect. We had two rooms on each side to enjoy both sides of the hotel. Meals were tasty and staff helpful. You will not believe how beautiful it is up there.

Location cannot be beat. Had en suite room and was surprised by how nice it was. Even had cleaning service each day which didn’t expect on the mountain.

Hotel Schwarzsee is special spot. They have improved their staffing now and it is far more friendly experience. Young dynamic crew that works hard to provide the best service. Front desk person is very nice and charming--important as it sets the tone for the stay. They are much more oriented towards understanding what hospitality and customer service means. It is a constant struggle and not easy as some guests may be difficult and they are now winning. Overall a pinnacle experience, pun intended and I will definitely be back.

For us this was a perfect hotel that exceeded our expectations on our skiing holiday. We really loved our stay here. We lived in the quadruple room for 8 days during the Christmas period. We had amazing weather the whole time and lots of snow. The view is amazing both down on Zermatt but also Matterhorn of course. The breakfast was basic but good. The 3 course dinner was great and always varied. Our kids loved it and I already miss being there.

Amazing location for day hikes! I stayed for 3 nights and was able to take different routes and explore the area with my dog! Very nice staff and even got to see an Ultra Trail Run event that was pretty cool.
