I think the location is perfect, especially for those who are into kite surfing, cause the place for that is just on the other side of lagoon and you can use hotel kayak to cross it. The hotel area is not large, but looks pretty with small garden and kind of bar/lounge area on the tree. I had triple room, it is simple but has everything I needed - AC, bed with mosquito net (actually there were not a lot of mosquitos inside, although a number of them and flies outside - remember there is a lagoon, so mosquitos can be there), cattle (some tea and sugar), good towels. Bathroom is also simple, but with good water pressure. The hotel staff is helpful - I had some requests for food (crabs are awesome) and activities (it is possible to get lagoon safari, Wilpattu safari and some other activities as kayaking and kiting here)
