I went with my wife to De Silva Wind Resort and We were greeted by a smiling lady called Sanduni. We felt at home from the time she explained all the details professionally. We were escorted to a basic but clean room and served with welcome drinks. We were really happy and rested till evening. Dinner time,we were treated with a buffet with offering that matched the price. We awoke next day and had a hearty meal in the morning, and set about joining the kite team in the boat. Even though we did not know anything about kite surfing the team led by Sachin and Chalanka showed us how to use those equipments which were brought all the way from Europe by the owner of the kite school. We came back to the hotel in the afternoon and watch the sunset from the chill out area with a beer from the well laid bar. Next day we came back to Colombo with a stunning experience that will make us go again when the season begins in October.

We had a great stay at De Silva Kite resort. The staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Location is great, right on the lagoon if you are there for watersports. If some of you aren’t boarding, you can still join the boat and go across the lagoon to the main beach. The staff at the kite school are very skilled and knowledgeable and look after everything. A big thank you to Baba and the team.

The staff working there are all just the best. The lady at the office helps with everything. Nice food, local and western. Good vibe. Right in front of the lake. New kitesurf equipment, in good conditions.

Location is just perfect. You can start start kitesurfing next to resort. Food is really good and the bar is a chill place to enjoy your evening.

Lovely people, staff is great! Hostel vibes but also oppertunity to use the pool/poolbar at the neighbouring de silva palm resort which is really great!
