This was my favourite place I stayed during my travels around Sri Lanka. Very clean and substantial rooms with a kitchen attached which I appreciated. The room had a fan and an AC unit to keep it cool. Right on a lake so I really enjoyed watching the wildlife and the peace of the location. Usually I would walk into the busier area of Hikkaduwa; although, tuk tuks were easily available and inexpensive to go further up the road where there were lots of shops and restaurants. While I was there, I’d walk up the beach and find a place to rent a lounger so I could enjoy the beach and sea and relax with a book. Breakfast was provided which was filling and the staff very friendly. Good WiFi and comfortable bed. I stayed for three nights and felt safe as a solo female.

Quiet, located at the edge of a lagoon.Rooms are clean and new. The host is gracious and helpful. For those with wheels,this hotel is good value for money...my stay came with a good local breakfast.

Friendly and helpful staff, beautilfully located on the river bank, close enough to the beach and restaurants yet quiet and peaceful.

Quiet place. The room was new and perfectly clean. Good breakfasts. Kitchen was well equipped.

Great rooms, super clean. Loved being on the lake. Hosts were lovely. About 20 minute walk to the beach. Highly recommend!
