Many thanks to the owner of the hotel Hoigo for the hospitality. We liked everything very much: the room, the pool, the beach, the location. We especially liked the restaurant. Everything was very tasty! We didn’t even go anywhere to have dinner. The staff is very nice and helpful. Thank you very much for everything! I wish you good luck and prosperity!

Cannot recommend this place any higher!! We arrived early in the afternoon, but that was no problem. The owner Peter is a fantasticly lovely person, and so is his wife Cristina. They make you feel right at home. Also, their partner Holger is a great guy! They were friendly, had great tips, and enjoyed a beer every now and then. The hotel has recently hired a new chef, and the food was absolutely superb! The rooms were spotless, the swimming pool was extremely well maintained, and the staff was super friendly. We are currently traveling to the center of Sri Lanka, but we are definitely coming back here for a few days before our Holliday is over

This beachfront hotel is a hidden gem. Located in the heart of Hikkaduwa’s beach, I was blown away by its ocean view. One of my favorite moments was when in the pool, admiring the breathtaking sunset horizon, as it rained upon me. The sound of the rain drops meeting the water of the pool was truly beautiful and therapeutic. The restaurant made such the tastiest soup and butter fried shrimp I’ve ever, creating an everlasting impression on my palate and senses. I will be sure to return to the magical pearl of Hikkaduwa.

The location is absolutely perfect. It's right on the beach, but the waves can be big, so you have the pool to cool down if you don't feel like getting sand in your bathsuit. It's on the beach, but it's on a quiet stretch of the beach. You walk for a few minutes along the beach and you hit all the restaurants and bars and all, but the hotel itself is quiet. There is a restaurant, enough chairs and sunbeds for everyone. You have breakfast, move to the pool to cool down, then onto the sun bed. And start again! It's a small hotel, definitely doesn't feel like a resort! I kept extending my stay, because everything was perfect there.
