My best stay in the country and one of the best in my extensive travels in Asia! Room was basic but adequate, nice view of ocean from balcony, 1 minute walk to swimming beach. Host and staff were very very nice. I was able to get good custom meals delivered to my balcony. Host purchased drinking water and gin and tonic supplies in town for me. And he booked dolphin tours at approx $20 less than web price I found. And he took me to a shop in town to get my duffle bag repaired. All staff were pleasant and always smiling. A wonderful stay and I wish I had been able to stay longer than 5 nights. Minor issue is that squirrels can get in room and tore open a bag of snacks.

Chilled atmosphere, extraordinary yummy food and support/advise wherever needed far more than typical sri lankan hotel service. Lovely owner Came back for 1 week after first stay. Diving, delfin and whale watching 1 min away as well as kitesurfing and many other opportunities

Location is great though its not at the edge of the water but few steps back. The crue is professional and making sure your needs are take care of. Food is absolutely on next level. When I needed a ride to Kalpitiya city, Kalpitiya Lagoon or just a ride to a near by the ATM, I jumped on the back seat of the scooter. Any request wasn't too much for the Scoop Cabana crue. Price wise, it is a great place value per money and I have stayed there for a full month

Amazing stay ! The location is just a few meters from the beach, the rooms are simple but very clean and confortable and the staff is super friendly and always there to help ! Also the breakfast was big and very tasty, as well as the meals ! I would recommend Scoop cabana without hesitation
