The family running this guesthouse are the most wonderful people! We felt truly welcome and the owner could not have done more for us. He offered to pick us up from the bus stop and came to get us in his tuktuk after we climbed Pidurangala Rock. In the morning, we had a delicious and traditional homemade Sri Lankan breakfast with the perfect view of Lion Rock.

Walking distance from the entrance to Sigirya - this is a wonderful place to stay for those on a budget and looking for an authentic Sri Lankan experience.

Our host and his family were very nice, helpful and friendly. They arranged our visit to Sigiriya Rock and our transfer to Polonaruwa. We stayed in the treehouse which was lovely and quiet with nice view. The dining area is away from the other building and has a nice view of the Rock. A great place to stay if you want to walk to the Rock. The wifi was not very good when we were there.

The host was super friendly and helpful. When we had to change the dates, he was very accomplished. Delicious breakfast and he made us Kottu for dinner one evening as well.

Beautiful view, great breakfast and if you are looking for a place in nature this hut is for you! We enjoyed our time here, relaxing while watching the tree tops
