The location was the highlight of my stay. My room has stunning views of the lake, and the pavilion was the perfect place for breakfast and evening coffee watching the sunset. The room and common areas were very clean. The breakfast was delicious and served in generous portions. The Niche exceeded our expectations by offering a boat ride along the Hikkaduwa Lake and an exclusive tour of the cinnamon plantation in which it is located. My husband and I had a glimpse of ancient cinnamon peeling techniques. The Niche provided an all round tourist experience with wonderful staff and all modern amenities.
