Private shower was a nice thing to have even in a such small room!
Staff super friendly
Super friendly and helpful staff! Simple breakfast available onsite with bread, coffee, or juice (I think this is pretty typical in Japan). Full, shared kitchen and laundry available for use onsite. Room was very clean (small but again, typical for Japan). Right next to a convenience store :D
The room was spacious and cold. The vibe of the place was very warm, homey and accommodating -- definitely meant for travelers who are visiting Osaka for the first time and are willing to put the effort into exploring the city.
(I stayed in a room with a bathroom, not capsule part)

Nice, easy stay near the palace. A hostel means people were typically visiting in the lobby, which was a fun vibe.
