Also great location near to the sea as well as station.
It is clean. Friendly staff. The location is also good. Near a tram line, to the Hakodate JR station, restaurants, and convenient stores. Most of the attractions are also near the guest house.
This property was at a good location for what I wanted to see. It's about a 15-20 minute walk from the Kanemori Warehouses, a 30-35 minute walk from the old town hall and churches, and a 30-40 minute walk from the ropeway. Mt. Hakodate is within view from the street. There's also a street car stop not far that can take you to Goryokaku Park/Tower. I found the facilities clean and squared and decorative yet sparse. Downstairs reminded me a little of someone's grandparents' house, while upstairs reminded me of a college dorm.
The host was welcoming and super helpful.
Check in and check out were smooth.
Clean facilities
The room is clean and wide enough for 4 people with suitcase. The staff is kind enough to help me bring over my suitcase to the 2nd floor.
