Very nice room. Comfortable surroundings, good location.
The room was spacious. Two large beds with space for sofa and coffee table. There was also a hot stone bed which we did not use.
The location was very convenient for exploring Motomachi and the port area. We were placed in an upgraded room which was larger. Overall, the hotel was very clean and tidy, and had a bit of interesting character that was fun (you cannot miss the building from outside).
Staff is great! Unlike newer hotels, use of the laundry machines is free. Close to Hakodate mountain and other historic sites. 10 minute walk to Hakodate park which is very pretty and peaceful. This was my first time booking this hotel and will book again.
Nice sized room, better fit for foreigners who are used to more space. Staff is friendly!
