Staff was very nice, ans even though no English is spoken (not a word) they attempted to assist as much as they could, with some Google translate we were able to communicate ok enough. Location is decent, less then 1 minute walk from the metro...

It was my first time in Almaty and in a SweetHomeHostel. There was a clean six-bed room, fresh linen. There is always delicious tea in the kitchen. Friendly staff, thank you for your help.

I liked how big the VIP room is. It can actually accommodate 3-4 people if only they can arrange bunk beds or additional single beds. The hostel itself is very clean and organized. Also very quiet which is good for those who are working remotely....
