Das Edelweiss is truly a gem of a hotel. Very clean, absolute first rate breakfast and late afternoon snack. Next to train tracks but not noisy at all. The family who runs the property (Klaus & Victoria) are friendly, super professional and tend to your every need.
You really don't need a car though the hotel does have parking. Gondola is a 5-10 minute walk that's delightful and very easy.
The hotel itself has lovely, simple rooms that fulfill every need we had. Highly recommended for families, couples, skiers, cyclists and really anyone who wants to relax in Kitzbuhel.
