Everything went smooth, and the host was super friendly and helpful.
A very cozy and spacious apartment — clean and well-maintained. Communication with the owner over the phone was pleasant; she seemed like a very kind and accommodating person. We were welcomed by her mother, who was incredibly sweet. Unfortunately, we couldn't chat much due to the language barrier, as her English was limited. The only downside was the low ceiling height — my husband is 192 cm tall and could almost brush the ceiling with his hair while walking around. Other than that, it was a lovely stay!
Apartment is quite well-equipped and clean. Host is very friendly and helpful if you need anything. We had to use Google translate to communicate with each other, but they were keen to help. Hosts' daughter is working downstairs and speaks really good English so we could also go to her for help...
Our host Lola went above and beyond, letting us leave our bags for a few days when we went to Valbona-Thoth, use the washing machine with provided detergent, and even gifting us a delicious homemade breakfast to go at our early morning key handoff before we went to catch the bus. The apartment is perfectly located - close to the main bus “station”, the Berisha Ferry company pickup spot, and Shkodra’s pedestrian area.
