The staff was awesome. I appreciated each and every single one of the staff that helped and accommodated my requests during my stay.
I had a one night stop over to Shakawe with my family and the kids absolutely enjoyed theis stay. The ambience and comfort is amazing and the staff is friendly.
On the outskirts of Maun, Cresta Maun (not to be confused with Cresta Riley) is a good option if you have a car/van or don't mind using taxis to get around and into the city. A mid-range, pleasant hotel with modern facilities, it has a nice pool, bar and dining area, dine in breakfast buffet and decent rooms. We had one stay in a suite, which was large, especially the bathroom area. The second stay was in a second smaller standard room, which looked as if it had been refurbished. Both were fine. The thing that distinguishes the hotel is it's friendly staff. Although our stay wasn't perfect, the staff always attempted to help us and made every effort to look after us. We felt very lucky to stay there.
