The old world charm of this hotel really stood out. We loved it! The kids room was amazing and the breakfast was exceptional. We had the best time!

Loved the location by the park and near the Municipal Market and next door to the Thermas Antônio Carlos.
Breakfast was otherworldly - worth staying just for that.
The indoor courtyard is beautiful.
The heated indoor pool with thermal waters was very convenient to use but closes from 13 hrs to 15 hrs for cleaning.
Disliked:
The amenities in the room - only one bath towel per person and one toilet roll.
Hotel advises paid parking nearby but there seems to be street parking at the back of the hotel (which used to be the front of the hotel).
The hotel is super classic, it's been there for a century. The structure is really big, so the rooms are large and comfortable. Some renovation was made, but you can feel it is somehow old - which is very nice. The thermal water pool, the gardens, the architecture, the restaurant, the service and the location are great advantages. It is very beautiful, I recommend it!
Historic hotel in Central location with natural thermal sulfuric pool fed by the natural thermal springs in the area.
Breakfast was good, but so much carbs , loads of bread and sweet pastries . Good assortment of fruits.
