Helpful and friendly staff, great breakfast and beautiful setting on the river!

Lovely hostel, clean, beautiful setting along the river, great breakfast. Super easy to organise any tours from here also which we found so helpful.

Really enjoyed my stay here, easily one of my favourite hostels I’ve visited. There was a lovely, relaxed atmosphere here and easy to meet people. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and it is a very homely hostel. I wished I could have stayed longer! The included breakfast is so good. There’s so much choice and the best part is they home-make a couple of delicious cakes each day for the breakfast - super tasty. Perfect location as is centred right on the river where it is so relaxing to sit, and a short walk to the historical centre. Free towels that get changed daily and clean spaces.

From the moment we got there the staff were very helpful. Eric who was at the desk when we got there gave us the good news that our room had been upgraded as they try to do this where possible for every guest. He offered to help us with our luggage and gave a brief tour of the pousada and also helped us to book tours while we stayed there. It was a very relaxed atmosphere next to the river and it was a short walk to the nearby beach. The boat tour that they organise is a must it's great value for money and you get to go to some amazing places around paraty.

Excellent location next to the river and a short walk to the historic centre. Nice little pool as well. Helpful friendly staff.
