Very friendly and helpful staff - especially woman who prepared breakfast. Clean room, good location, nice building.
Nice clean hostel about 5 minutes walk from the bus station. Friendly staff. Good value for the amount charged.
Comfortable stay in a very nice pousada (this was a return visit). The room was good, and parking was available (on request - they have limited space for cars in the courtyard, and you leave the car key with them so they can move it when needed). It's a short walk into the historical centre. The host doesn't speak English, but is friendly and patient to understand bad Portuguese and Spanish.
