The Houses of History is located on the shore of Belső-tó in Tihany, on a half hectare area, a 5-minutes walking distance from the city center. The 200-years-old historic listed building gives the ambiance of the 19th century. Some of the rooms have views of the Belső-tó. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and continental breakfast is included in the room price. From the seasonal outdoor pool guests can enjoy the view of the Belső-tó's wildlife. This was the second time we stayed. Room size was great. Beds were comfortable, breakfast had a good selection.
Location for Tihany and surrounding areas is perfect. Pool looked nice, but it rained so we didn't get a chance to go in.
Pretty well maintained and clean property. The receptionist was super friendly and helpful.
A charming historic building located in the beautiful Tihany. The room was spacious, came stocked with complimentary ammenities, and I had a very restful night's sleep in the quiet neighborhood. The breakfast was filling. I even got to meet some friendly local cats. All the main sights of the area are in walking distance. I enjoyed my stay.
Enjoyed this property, peaceful and rustic with some original features
All of the staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. The center of town was easily walkable from the property. The breakfast each morning was AMAZING (my favorite was the homemade fig jam). I especially enjoyed the quiet of nature that surrounds this property.
