The 'Posada del Cerro' is the "Hill Inn" in every sense. Surrounded by nature, with a view of the lake, complete with nearby drum music on some evenings. There are about 75 steps up to the Restaurant. The facilities are rustic, and there are suggestions about keeping your luggage closed, since open air conditions may lead to critters. The shower had ample supply, and there's one bottle of drinking water per night in your room. 'Posada del Cerro' coordinated my arriving airport shuttle.

We loved staying at this place. Great location , set up , and lovely people . So nice to always be able to order food .

The natural architecture and use of local plants was beautiful and thoughtfully designed. The windows in my single room immersed me in the surrounding forest.

We loved the room we were in- our first time staying in a room where we saw the sunrise directly! Was about a 20 minute walk to town with restaurants and bars along the route. We liked being a bit further, was very quiet! Bed was super comfortable, king size. WiFi didn’t reach to room but that wasn’t an issue, it’s in the main reception area with lots of seats. There’s breakfast and other meals you order ahead of time. No bugs when we stayed and sleeping temperature without ac was totally fine! Hot water
