Astoria Hotel Heimbach, Хаймбах, Германия

We were greeted by a very personable gentleman at the front desk, who immediately switched to English when he saw me struggling with my German skills. Our room was situated in the front of the hotel with a gorgeous view of the castle, and the bathroom was modern and well equipped. We had a peaceful sleep and really enjoyed the breakfast, with a large selection of items. We were in the area to watch a vintage car rally, which actually passed by the hotel in the afternoon.

The owner was gladly accomodating our late arrival. The rooms were in exceptional interior desing. We were close to the Eiffel national park and enjoyed the quiet surroundings. The town's train station was only a short walk away.
