The surroundings on top of the mountain was outright beautiful. The staff was tremendously patient with our poor German and they made great food for us
very friendly staff, cool location - for the view and for starting the tracks, great breakfast, big room with big shower, hot water with good pressure, good heating, nice balcony and view
I loved its mountain top location. We stayed after visiting Lake Titisee and its water park. Amazing location. So peaceful with incredible views.
My favourite stay on the Westweg. A lovely unspoiled spot, a few hundred meters down from the top. I loved the quirky aspect of the room layout, and the place is not brand new but very comfy and clean.The room was plenty big enough with a balcony and views. The food was hearty (vegetarian and vegan), nice cold beers, all enjoyed on a terrace with stunning views down the valley. The staff were really helpful and friendly. 10 out 10 :-)
Another great touch, was when the staff went off shift, we were very welcome to keep pouring drinks and settle up in the morning.

Amazing quiet location up high in the hills with plenty of easy parking. Food was very good, evening meal and breakfast. The staff were also very friendly and obliging. Great views all around. Access to a sauna for free was good.
