Good location near to bus and rail station and budget supermarket. Nice breakfast buffet. Having a small kitchen in my room for self-catering (the options to eat out in town are limited at times).
There are lots of hiking and biking opportunities in the area. Cross-country skiing would also be good but snow is unreliable these days at this altitude.
