This family-friendly hotel offers rooms in a classic, English country style, with four-poster beds and antiques. It lies in the southern Lüneberg Heath. The medieval town of Celle is 16 mi away. Friendliest staff there is, great breakfast buffe (although the coffee could have been stronger). If we hade mentioned it I am sure it would have been fixed but we did not have the time.
Quiet setting within short walk to restaurants in town. Spacious. Very accomodating of my motorcycle. Let me park in their barn/garage. Large breakfast, which included hot items like eggs.
Lovely host and charming rooms. Great breakfast with lots of options, warm croissants and scrambled or boiled eggs made fresh. Perfect for a stopover while in transit through Germany.
