The location was spectacular. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The bed was comfortable. Martin the host was delightful.
Very helpfull owner and greate breakfast. Close to the beautyful lake and greate nature and nice town. We strongly recomend renting bikes in Garmish and go around the area.
I loved it and will forever remember it as one of the magical lodges in my Solo Trip 2023. It is ideal for people who like to hike, love the mountains and want to disconnect.

Family run. Great view from road. Just two bedrooms upstairs with balcony. Very quiet. Breakfast is laid out in the morning outside the room for you to help yourself. With the tax you pay the owner gives you a travel pass to use in the area. We went on the cable car to Zugspitz which was wonderful and caught the bus just down the road. Had 2 meals at Dorfbrunnen hotel (which gives massive potions!) which is 5 minutes in the car (a bit too far to walk). Would highly recommend a stay here.
